Camp School
The Gnowangerup Training Centre can provide fully or semi catered facilities for school groups.
The Centre
Gnowangerup Training Centre is located 130 km from Albany and less than 5 km from the Gnowangerup
town site - right in the heart of the Stirling Ranges!
Situated on 440 hectares, the Centre offers a wide variety of agricultural experiences and is fully equipped for short-term residential camping.
The Centre is a fully-operational farm currently used for:
· sheep farming
· cropping (wheat, barley and oats)
· cattle production
· pigs
The location and facilities of the Centre make it ideal for unique rural experiences. Experienced farm staff can provide a wealth of knowledge and information about farming and the local area, and visitors are able to
participate in some of the more passive farm practices under their direction. The Centre is a Department of Education and Training facility and, as such, general insurance coverage applies as well as public liability insurance. Personal accident insurance for students is your school’s responsibility
